Hi Christine and welcome to the forum from a fellow March Cabriolet owner! B-) I did not have any problems insuring my Cabriolet, I paid £185 for fully comprehensive cover mind you I live in the Channel Islands! Which insurance companies have you tried and what spec is your Cabriolet?Fed up being told by insurers that they don't cover imports. Can anyone recommend an insurance company, please? Chris
Thanks, Andy. Can't wait to get the car on the road but insureres using comparison websites would only accept Micra GX or SLX automatic models and did not recognise a March auto. Another member recommended Elephant (aka Admiral) which are making enquiries and ringing me later with a quote. The car is a 1275 cc Japanese import in a bright shiny red with black roof (that sounds very girly!)Hi Christine and welcome to the forum from a fellow March Cabriolet owner! Don't know the history. We bought it last October from a local garage owner who had stored it for two years. He likes Micras and wanted this for himself but didn't have time to put it on the road. The engine was sound but needed cosmetic work including a new roof. I'm sending a picture of the roof as we bought it. It'sHi Christine I messaged you I am being nosey now so pleased do not answer if you don't want to! What is the history of the car who did you buy it from and what condition is she in and have you had any work done on her and can you post any more pics of her please?

Your joking, I had one and insured it through the AA
They don't have them on their data bases is probably more like it.
And welcome to the forum Christine.
Really glad to hear it.On your advice I immediately rang AA but they no longer insure imports. Eventually found cover with Elephant as recommended by another forum user, but thanks for your interest.
did they fit the glass window to the new roof?, do you want me to get you the cabriolet sticker for the boot? what was your insurance quote with Elephant?
