What's a walk-in device for a seat?

Hi,

Nissan did a recall on "DRIVERS SEAT WALK IN DEVICE CONCERN". See theAA.com
What's a walk-in? Google suggests it allows the seat back to tip forward allowing access to the rear seats throught the front door, but it also says you don't get a driver's one, only passenger seats, because of safety.

I've a five-door, so don't know what a three-door has.

The recall was just to replace the cables on the seat, the seats would sumtimes not tilt propely! as i used to work for nissan i have done many off them! hope this helps you!

yea the cables snapped on my super s seats, luckily i have a 5 door
