What fits in my micra :/

I done a quick search and theres a few random questions like this scattered through out the forum. Just thought id make one place for all these queries to live.... my question is ... "what other car can i take a radiator from that will fit my k11?"

Never done it myself so I'm unsure what needs doing, but given the size difference I'd say yes you'd need to alter the slam panel and lower cross member

Ok. Alot more work than its worth by the sounds of it. Anyone in here have anything in their K11's that didnt start its life in a nissan factory?

GA mera ones are wider and lower, with the top hose well over to the o/s

Thanks frank. I have a better idea of it now. I dont want this thread to stop at radiators.. What else could i pick up that would work in the K11.. I remeber reading the clio bumpers fit but thats asthetics.

So today i pulled out the smashed radiator

And put in one obtained from the scrappies.

Looks happier already.

Dang did it work ok? I'm always worried if I have to replace some parts and **** is hard to find. I had to replace the Radiator bottle which cost 50 euro just for some plastic bottle I could have probably melted to fit.

if you want a direct fit radiator that performs abit better than the puny 15mm thick rad on a manual k11, try fitting a new 26mm rad from Nissen for an automatic k11.

it now handles the 160bhp turbo setup on long hot trackdays no sweat

i picked up a radiator and fan for €30 in kildare scrapyard. went in perfectly.
