you did centre the spool i hopewdid tried to fit a mera gti steering wheel and spiked my airbag module, it's knackered and light wont go off. will get one from scrappers hopefully it will fix it .
the wires/ribbon inside will only rotate about 5 turns iirc, so if you dont centre it first it will tear the ribbon when you turn the wheelerm, i think so, why would it not go off if it snt centred
im already pug faced lol . i know that now, we acutually learned about airbags in college the following day. just thought leave this hereshould disconnect the battery before you play with the airbag!! could end up pug faced
reminds me of my old one with those chrome superlights. looks awesome
booked it in for an alignment check at a local performance store after lowering it and to get the rear shock looked at i may have killed by incorrectly fitting and running it :/ oops
test fitted my 7x13 wheels and they rubb on the calipers so im selling them...
They dont rub on the spokes but on the top of the caliper....
if i check for continuity on the ribbon that would eliminate it from the pic ,right? obviously when the airbag is disconnected ,would'nt want to end up with a screwdriver in my facethe wires/ribbon inside will only rotate about 5 turns iirc, so if you dont centre it first it will tear the ribbon when you turn the wheel
