Took me 10 mins, 12mm nut on top pipe and 10mm nut on bottom and comes off then same way back, I Oxy waxed mines so it's no more leaks

Right I don't get this so if I use 3 mm spacers the calipers will push away more inside the steelies ur saying ?

Just ordered some chameleon carbon fibre wrap in a purple type colour. Thinking of doing my wing mirrors, and maybe something inside.
Don't know when I'm going to get the time though. Got my headlights protectors to colour up as well.
Blue, black, or Orange....not decided yet.
I know, I'll get 2 more sets of protectors......sorted.

Ah, mine was like that, hung really low till it had an argument with a curb, and bent the center box round at the same time..
I ordered some wrap for mine, matt black cause nothing else goes with my cars colour apart from white, still waiting for a non rainy day to fit it...

Hey , need to pick your brains ... My car now I know it's only a 1.0 fart box but it's having power issues ... It seems the more electric I use e.g radio, lights, blowers etc less power my car has to the point it will only creep maybe even cut out ... If I am only using my lights at the end of the trip and I pull up the car will sit high revving until I turn my lights off then the revs drop ? Any ideas.... Really starting to lose my hair with it ?
£15 well spent at the scrapy today the rear wash has leaked for 4 years, sorted .. The boot handle has broke 2 bolts , sorted with a nice black facelift handle and the shield for the alternator that was more rust and rattle than metal has been replaced with a virtually as new one

Dale, at a random guess from what you described, it sounds like either Alternator or Battery, best to do and battery test and a charge test as it will only get worse as winter progresses!
Bought a 2001 Micra 1.0S today with 94,500 on the clock. Paid a bargain price from a trader in my village. Got it home, hoovered it out including the boot, lubed all door locks, petrol flap lock and ignition.
Checked tyre pressures (including spare). Gave the engine bay a little wipe over.
Only thing at fault so far is the accelerator pedal is a little stiff so it'll be off with the air box tomorrow to check the throttle cable area.
Bodywork is a bit reddy, pinky and not the best but it's solid, straight and isn't a rust bucket.
Perhaps a good wash and Autoglym SRP and wax can help.
Had a K11 1.3 in the past, then my Dad had a K11 1.3 which I used to drive a lot. Now my wife drives a K11 1.3 and my Dad has replaced his last Micra with guess what......another K11 Micra 1.4.
The Micra bought today is a runabout and will help to keep the miles down on my true pride and joy. A '01 Golf GT TDI which has been race tuned to 281bhp and 425ftlbs. It's my baby which I've had for four years and it's going to be kept in the garage as much as poss.
What I love about the K11's are their reliability, ease of maintenance, great all round visibility and frugal economy.

I got 5 today at my local autofactor .. They are standard bulbs with deep blue glass.. The ones in your clocks will be the same as the clear one or have a blue rubber/plastic type cover. I have leds on the way but am playing with options as opinions vary.

Well, today I bought and fitted some new headlight bulbs to replace the LED ones (Better known as crap) I got some all weather ones from Halfords They are a bit more of a mellow Yellow then the crystal clear LEDS that would not light up over 5 meters down the road, also replaced the heater control lights, in blue, and done the dash cluster lights in Red with the LCD bulb in green, and fixed the Sub on/off wire since someone managed to stand on it and snap it..

Fabreeze'd it too.
Washed, polished, bit of touch up paint all round.
Adjusted throttle cable and lubed pedal spring.

Fitted a set of wheels trims that my wifes car came with. They are Nissan Micra ones but from her '99 model. Two of the ones on my car have been stored away and the one two trims were binned as they were no good.
Going to keep an eye out for the other odd two trims to get a full set again.
Will respray both sets when the warmer weather comes about.
