WDIDT ? re-torqued the headbolts all 10 of them opened with a "crack" but they still tightened another 1/8th of a turn tho !

i forgot to take the pic till i had refitted them mate i wedged the tensioner with 2 hacksaw blades down the side of it, then removed the exh sprocket, then lifted the 2 cams out

Moi? Nah just want a little welding project, so I thought instead of running beads on a bit of scrap metal I'll do something a little more practical

Yeah 14.645 back in February, will get a better idea next month with this new map, better tyres, bumpers, headlight, higher rear springs and stiffened and stripped out more

Probably but remember he's on an old airfield ect

that doesnt use sticky glue stuff to help launch ect :L

Sorted the speedo and trip meter sender. Swapped electric one for cable one.

Remove seem sealer from bonnet, sorted proper lamp pod mounts and wiring, added extra bonnet clip.

Scrubbed in new Yoko's

Set up measured mile and set up trip meter.

Still got pulling issues see other thread......

Replaced those rather rattly hangers with some solid steel clamps for the backbox. Reverb through the cabin is awesome now!

had a ride in joes on polo coilies all round smoother ride than the corsa b's,, due to the rears probly

Rode noddies rod....let the haters hate.

Then installed it and tidyed the seatbelts up! New mounting points and paper clips to secure the flappy bits

Also installed an new dizzy cap because the other one was cracked and the source of my starting issues

Gave these a good scrub and took coils and what not off. Few bits of rust. I shall paint when returned. Forgot to take pics of the damage at the top of the damper. The seal and the metal guide under the top of the damper was forced out. Sending back to matt humphries as damaged. Probs not good really given they had only done a few hundred miles.

You could make one from PTFE sheet quite easy, I made a few thermal inlet mani gaskets to stop the inlet getting hot on my carbs

3mm & them a 5mm version mate think Pollyp's may have been 8mm... For a TB thermal gasket I'd go as thick as u can get even maybe stack a few together
