Been down a mates today that i met at the jdm meets local to me the other night
We freed up my breaks and gave them a good grease, also then tidied up the bay a bit moving a few hoses and taking off the heat sheild, then put on a spare mushroom filter that he had
Gives off a nice sound to go with the exhaust!
One thing im just wondering, what is the diameter for me to buy a mini oil filter? need one as not got a blank for it

Currently stuck in a garage car over heating and batterry dead. The bloody ECU is showing 13 volts to the battery. Don't that mean its charging? Tried two batteries both the same result . also the car is only cooling when the engine revs.

Yeah can't here any slip. I thought 13 volts would of still been enough.? I think the over heating issue is solved. Not enough coolant.

Just noticed this got worse...
Think it could be clutch ... But I don't get it in anything other than 1st.. Even reverse is fine.

Found the issues! I am missing gearbox bolts.

The car is now getting on me nerves! So the alternator seems to be intermittent ... Working for a while then not ..stopping and starting anyone had this issue. Either way i removed to inspect... No idea what I am looking at lol. Weird...

After fitting flyeyes to my nephews 106 (sorry, I told him many times to get a micra, but would he listen? ) there was loads left so I had his leftovers and did this
With pre facelift grille it keeps black theme going...and also helps disguise the fact that n/s headlight has condensation in it...

Seems this voltage is consistent. Must be some dodgy wiring somewhere.
Is that 1.7 volts? Or fractions of a volt.

Had another little go with the wet'n'dry ...3 panels down now...still gotta do the front end (doors/bonnet/wings) and re-spray it all
...waiting for better weather of course though, gonna be waiting forever!
probably should just move to Spain or something ^_^ LOL
Dad tells me there's a guy locally that will come out and match your paint to what it is now instead of using the paint code and supplying paint how your car looked when it rolled of the factory line...some 7 years ago <_<
still would love to get a full re-spray but have no idea about costs, where to go, how much prep I should/must do whether it would be better/cheaper/worth doing it panel by panel instead of the whole thing?...get a mobile guy instead of taking it somewhere?...etc....
I know I definitely can't get it moped...as I'm almost certain it was done before I bought the car as the paint seems stupidly thin..I leant on my old K11 (same colour) nothing happened, I look at my K12 funny and scratches appear immediately down the the metal!! I know I'm paranoid, but it's frustrating...wish I'd just left it well alone *Facepalm* although saying that the majority looks better than it did
...no more deep gouges down to the black plastic of the bumpers (front and rear) and the bonnet is no longer plagued with over 20 noticeable (to me) stone chips (each down to the metal)...
Is it wierd that if i won the lottery i would get my car re-sprayed, not changing the colour either...instead of buying an audi R8? LOL
