Today I removed the centre console surround, cup holders and gear surround cleaned everything even behind the dash! Then I washed, shampoo, chamois polished and also applied a coat of extra gloss protection to Steffi's body!

Today after work got Steffi out gave her dust/buff and took her for a spin! B-)

Today the last of the Cab parts I bought off Andy arrived thanks mate for selling them to me Steffi will be happy! B-)

Today I shampooed the re-placement drivers seat base material I bought off Andy_S came up like new lol!

This came in the post today a UK spec FHK11 speedometer in mph! Got it so when Steffi Cab and me come over to the big rock (mainland UK) I can swap the original JDM March Cabriolet km dial to a mph one! B-)

Steffi's front passenger quarter light window guide black paint always looked faded and dull. So today I stripped and removed the window guide/runner and quarter light glass and rubbers/seals cleaned them. Re-sprayed the window guide/runner put it all back and it looks like new job done! B-)

Pre-washed, shampooed, rinsed, chamois, polished and applied autoglym extra resin coat to Steffi Cab today! B-)

Last June when I went to Cornwall to buy Steffi off davyboy I bought a new Sony car hifi unit from Halfords in Penzance, when I got back to the island I fitted it everything worked apart from the radio tuner! The tuner could not receive any stations even in the auto search, so after many attempts since last June trying to find a solution including 2 new aerials, re-earthing, new connectors new cable I finally gave up on the unit and bought a new one yesterday.

The new unit is a Pioneer DEH-X8700DAB and I fitted it today I also replaced the adaptor plugs into the original JDM wiring loom, switched it on and low and behold it works and even the tuner works including the FM and DAB lol!

JOB DONE!

Nothing wrong with a healthy obsession Andy, and on the subject of stereos, personally I really like pioneer gear I have them in both of my micra's . The one in my LX is full digital ( no moving parts and super light ) no cd just radio and USB/iPod input with Bluetooth tethering to my phone

The Sony unit I bought new last year when I was on the big rock (England) in Cornwall tuner never worked will send back it's still under warranty!

Fitted the JDM Nissan T-ANK March walnut central console surround and also the gear shift walnut surround also found a garage locally that is 99.9% sure they can get a airbag for the amazing wood/leather steering wheel! B-)

Replaced the manual radio arial with a electric aerial and it works! Originally the Cabs came with a electric aerial but mine had been removed for some reason? B-)

Today arrived the black airbag for the 2002 1.4Sport+ red leather steering wheel, also in the pic is a 2002 1.4SE+ grey leather steering wheel and a 2000 JDM Bolero leather/solid wood steering whee and a JDM March AK11 cup holderl! B-)

I must be doing something wrong it took me more then 4 hours to clean the Cab: Pre-washed, autoglym shampoo, dried with a pro micro filament cloth, autoglym extra hard resin polish, 2 x autoglym extra gloss coat (40 mins to dry then buff off per coat), polished windows, autoglym bumper/trim conditioner, autoglym tyre dressing, polished alloys, vacuumed mohair roof, autosoled chrome. Still have engine bay and interior to do lol! :-S

Another Cab arrived in the island today, my mate who has a red one bought this one! It needs restoration and a new roof and I have dibs on the front bumper with the driving lights! That's 3 FHK11'S in the island now! B-)

I recently replaced the rocker cover gasket with a genuine JDM Nissan March one bought through Nissan Westway in Southampton it cost £10.21 cheaper then a clone/copy lol! B-)
