Water leaking?

Was checking the car the other day and the water tank beside the battery was empty so filled it up, 2 days later its empty again. Where should I be checking for leaks?

If you're losing that much water you need to check all the hose joints and around the radiator and expansion tank. You don't actually need that plastic expansion tank its just a modern thing really. Years ago that small rubber pipe going to it used to be attached to the side of the radiators and just let excess water onto the ground. Now it just keeps the system topped up for longer.

Dont forget to check carpets in passenger footwells in case its a leak from the heater matrix or hoses

Hee hee, the environmentalists would **** a brick if we still had that system of dumping coolant on the ground
