Vacuum advance on dizzy plus turbo :s

What should I do with the vacuum line on the dizzy, surely it wouldn't work correctly when on boost, it's the opposite.
Or jus plug it?

you,ll still need it for when its running off boost pork (which is 90% of the time, off track) you could praps fit a spring and rig-up a boost retard on it :)

Cheers, could you explain a little further mate, sort off understand, jus a little unsure as to how I would rig it uo

the diaphram pulls on the arm and that twists the dizzy internal baseplate eh, so if instead of the zero vacuum bumpstop you allowed it to travel backwards, it would add some retard (ie, a spring instead of the bumpstop) :)

Get ya! Il give it a go. Jus get it running!
I think I will get negajolt soon, it has turbo map as standard, so I've been told :D

I just had a thought which is either genius or dumb, il let you decide

I won't be using the mechanical fuel pump anymore, so I was thinking of plumbing it to the dizzy, so the more revs, the more the pump works creating vacuum

Right? Or would it not create enough to operate it?

nah, the fuelpump has a very limited scope pork, sort-of basic flow @ idle, and 2 x flow @ full chat.
the manifold vacuum is far more useful in terms of on boost/off boost
