the diaphram pulls on the arm and that twists the dizzy internal baseplate eh, so if instead of the zero vacuum bumpstop you allowed it to travel backwards, it would add some retard (ie, a spring instead of the bumpstop)

I won't be using the mechanical fuel pump anymore, so I was thinking of plumbing it to the dizzy, so the more revs, the more the pump works creating vacuum
Right? Or would it not create enough to operate it?

nah, the fuelpump has a very limited scope pork, sort-of basic flow @ idle, and 2 x flow @ full chat.
the manifold vacuum is far more useful in terms of on boost/off boost
