I've got a coil pack 1.0 and want to get a 1.3/4 swap and turbo, I know the 1.4 is more prone to piston problems, I've seen that a 1.0 head and pistons hold up better, what would be the best option of going about this?

Standalone ecu required and just turbo the 1.4. If you don't go mad then you'll have no issues with pistons.

Was thinking the same thing Frank. I think they get confused with regards building a high compression na engine.

There's Megasquirt or Omex to name two. All depends on how much you want to spend.
