to turbo?

A mate of mine thinks he has found a turbo of a micra with the manifolds needed at a cheap price, I would happily buy it and put it on my 1.3 Sr the only worry I have is the insurance after doing a quick quote on confused its going to come back at £3000 a year that's over £2000 more than what I'm paying now. The only other option is to put it on and not tell the insurance but then I don't want to to get pulled by the police. Im 19 with almost 1 years no claims bonus what do I do in this situation? Help please!!!!!

Phone adrian flux and see what they offer, if you say something silly like 20,000 miles a year youll get high quotes!

What kinda quotes have others got for turbos then? I'm 21 with a years ncb and a second on the way and even normal quotes are still mid 500s plus... 10000 miles a year that is.
