THIS IS MY BOOMSTICK!
One of the UK's most iconic motoring brands is about to make a welcome return home. MG, now owned by the Chinese firm SAIC Motor Corporation, is set once again to go into production at the old Rover plant in Longbridge towards the end of the year. It's great news for car workers in the area who lost their jobs when Rover went into administration back in 2005. Whilst the new owners have made MG cars for sale in China, the move marks their first foray into the European car market - and the latest chapter in a story that started as long ago as 1924 when MG very first went into production.
Just some thing that caught my eye on a webuyanycar email I got, don't worry the Micra ain't going anywhere.
