LMAO! yes that was a very tough year at jae for pitching of the tents. My car jack came in very handy lol!

I'm not sure whether we'll be camping this year or not yet.

yea was brilliant that thing ! i hope he comes again this year, hopefully with a turbo on his motor and the can he got from the trade section.

Lets have some more interest in this event!

This is the MSC's flagship event of the year for the full weekend to show your car for only £11 per person to over 1000's of the general public, socialise with other members, sit back, chill out enjoying the atmosphere unlike any other car show.

BBQ's (HINT) both Saturday night and sunday afternoon for members, 4 trophies up for grabs and you don't even need a modified car to win one! This event is all about relaxing over the weekend, well unless you me organising everything lol!

The event is like no other through the year, chavs are in the minority ;) and the event is well marshalled with the option to camp near bye to the stand, so your in stumbling distance, it really is the best way to get to know members through the weekend and catch up with those you do know as well.

JAE is now offically HUGE with many different activities going on to suit all.

If anyone hasn't been before then you should definately go, even if it's not for the whole weekend.

People i'd like to see there this year that weren't there last are; Ollie, Nex (& Detox!), Paul_k10-lx, errrrr.........Richarda, ummmmm....... well u get my drift, all the people i speak to and all the regular posters that use the MSC. This event is such a laugh and should not be missed!!
 
also k10 and k12 are welcome. so don't be afaried.

You cant miss this event!! The __BEST__ car meet of the year without a doubt. I booked the days off work last december, it's that good!
 
my first time last year and what a weekend it was. and i will be going again. i can hear those dodgems calling me. and james do you think you can keep up this year " light wieght"
 
Yes, I'm now a fully fledged drinker! And I only get hangovers for mixing! If I stick to one drink I will be fine! ;)
 
May come along to this as its always a good weekend with some very nice cars, but no longer have a Japanese car so will see. VDub shows are the way forward for me now lol. Would be good to catch up with a few of you again though.

just after some info on this, tryin to sort out my life! lol gona be a hectic week so gona plan well in advance! JAE fri sat sun, my bday on the mon and fly out to canada on the weds! so just trying to plan when to book onto the ferry ect ect
1) i expect there will be some sort of convoy going down to this event that i could tag on to? would that leave friday?
2) once your cars in you cant take it out again?

hope someone can shine some light on me cheers for any help

Yeah when you car is in, you can take it out. Obviously if everyone did, the stand would be pretty empty, but sometimes you have to for the essentials. Food, new tent, etc! lol.
 
i was going to come down during my lunch break on the friday to have a look around and find the msc stand introduce myself to everyone that dont already know me, and then go back to work.

on saturday i take it i could come down around 7am ish and put my car on the stand and go to work, or what times do the gates open?

on sunday i might be lazy and spend most of the day walking around the place
 
The great storm of 2006 wrecked a few thats all!! Including ours, worth £180 or something silly and wrecked im sure in minutes. We were rushing back from Tesco but it beat us to it. The MSC gasibo & Kev's tent got wrecked too.
 
Fordy, were goin down on the fri so i guess the gates will be open from then if you have a pass.

i'll be there with my main club, if i get drunk enough i'll pop over to show me face and make a complete idiot out of myself as usual :grinning:

I'm not sure when the tickets will be sent out, I know my cheque has been cashed for them, so as soon as they are sent to me I will send them out to everyone.

well the modified nationals this year were held at the same place and all i can say is the nationals is a large show however jae 2006 made the nationals look small.
 
Iwill definately be there if i pass me test next friday! If not i may still pass it by then!

Definitly come Antony! :) We slept in our car last year, but only because our tent got destroyed!
