Sunroof drain pipes

6 months ago I re-routed the front sunroof drain pipes so that they drain outside of the car and not into the sills.
For the last week the front of the car has been up on axle stands whilst I did some work on it. It rained a lot that week.
When I removed the axle stands and got the car back on 4 wheels a ton f water drained out of the sills through the normal drain holes along the sill seams.
So what's going on here? Somehow water is still getting in?

i,ve never seen a rusty k11 front sill, and the 2 k11,s with a sunroof i,ve had, had non rusted sills
yet my other 2 k11,s had rusted sills (and they had no sunroof)

are you sure it did,nt trickle out the doors and over the sills wehey ?
