Secondary battery in parallel?

I know a bit about ohm's law... But who knows... Is it possible to rig up 2 batteries in the Micra? Or will it fry my starter engine (too much current) or fry my alternator (too much load).. Has anybody done this? Basically I want a capacitor, but I can buy a car battery for less money than a capacitor here :doh: Thanks

Surely you mean wire them in Parallel?
In series would double the voltage and that would definetely cause trouble.
