safety devices roll cage

hi can anyone help I am building a road rally micra I have a safetydevices cage but no fitting kit so could do with some photos of either a plate kit or picks of the feet of a cage fitted

I believe SD sell the fitting kit on it's own. A very worthwhile investment!

we had to make the pods that the feet bolted to from 3mm steel plate iirc, then weld them to the floor

hi thanks for that but its a sd cage goes in different places to the omp

you will probably have the same "missfit" problems with any cage tho john, and the rally rulebook stated a (100cm sq ?/3mm thickness) minimum support plate or pod between the feet and the floor

hi frank that's true we have built rally cars since 1984 from avengers and saabs,the last 7 years I have built them at my garage in Lancaster including a 1300 micra with a sd cage all I wanted was picks of the feet and boxes so I could roughly bend the plates ready as it was 5 years since I built it I have forgot ,just on a tight time limit with the garage being busy
