Myself and the wife once did a road trip from lands end to John O’Groats, that was five years ago now. We loved the drive from the start of the A9 up to John O’Groats and also various other Scottish roads around Glen Coe and Loch Lomond - I’m curious to know if anyone has recommended road trip routes in Scotland and interesting local sights worth seeing.
I always love road trips with a bit of off roading or hairy country tracks, no city driving or minimal city driving en route and epic scenery.
