Anyone got some tips for doing this?
All I can thing of is putting it in a vice and then undoing the bolts from there - anybody know the torque for a K11, I can't seem to find the relevant torque in my Haynes.
Cheers Craig

No, I mean the ring gear on the diff - I believe that on fwd vehiles it is actually called a pinion gear, although tips on how to remove the other irng gear would be good as well -, just in case I strip one!

ah crownwheel, i,d use an impact/airgun or yes hold it in a vice
i dont know the torque setting but, pretty tight with some threadlock ?
the starter ring has to be weakened with a drill hole then split with a chissel and the new one heated up (interference fit)

Hmm, I will have to investigate the threadlock - I certainly don't want it coming off!
Sounds like a ral job to do a starter ring - maybe something best left to the professionals?

Any mor help guys?

Cheers Craig
