removing car underseal

well since NO_ONE round here will do my sill, im gonna give it ago, now there is a hole in the floor aswell, i need to go back to good metal so it can weld on propa but ill ave to scrap all the underseal off which i have just been told is bad stuff (fine dust etc), should i patch it over with fibreglass and steel and re-seal it all or get it done propa? while i have a welder aswell im gonna do me flush boot any idea on what metal is best to use? been told to use a roadworks sign but i dunno, cheers guys!

a wire wool attachment for a drill or grinder will get rid of any rust and underseal, halfords sell them,

for flushing the boot just use normal sheet steel

any idea what guage n tha to get? me mate gonna lend me his welder so im ganna do it tommora!
