Ooooh didnt think of that... ill give that a go.I'd take the engine out to do it personally, but if in doubt remove the heater hoses

I'd just stick to N/A Tom
Build another engine for boost. Reliability is key for you not power.
I'm not trying to drown your dreams just keeping em grounded

Just hope its the dizzy rather than the cams I just cant be arsed with it anymore...Well I would say it's incorrectly timed
It's totally understandable that you're feeling the way you do Tom but look at the work you've put into it. Get the niggles sorted out and you'll start feeling the love againJust hope its the dizzy rather than the cams I just cant be arsed with it anymore...
it will be sluggish if the spark is retarded tom, and the powerband will move up or down the rpm if the inlet cam is movedTook it for a speed run up the A140 my local carriage way, i know it like the back of my hand...
The power band has shifted I have to thrash it to get any sort of speed 60 mph 5th gear put my foot down and nothing happens literally maxed at 60mph.
@frank would you say this could still be timing?
Its going back tomo because its just stupidly slow and sluggish.
So rotate the dizzy to adjust the spark I get that...it will be sluggish if the spark is retarded tom, and the powerband will move up or down the rpm if the inlet cam is moved
I know, she makes me so proud to look at but just hasn't made me smile like she did in april may time it feels like months of hellIt's totally understandable that you're feeling the way you do Tom but look at the work you've put into it. The garage can deal with that then im going to literally beat them into submissionyes the slots on the dizzy mate, and yes the chain would need resetting if a cam position is wrong
