Oil choice?

I've been having my oil light flash on now & then, but have no idea what i should be using! So anyone using anything particular?

Does anyone find the K10 1.0Litre burn alot of oil?

Well i purchased oil last minute because it was so low, so now i am rocking

The micra is using 10/40 from asda bit cheap but i change it every 5k.

Im using mobil super 10w/40 in my K10.

i use cheapo 10/40 semi, we use the same at work perchance

Why would you want to uze the 5w30 over the 10w40?

Both are fine,but the 5w30 gives better Economy

True that and it's what's recommended for all K12s including diesels .
