well after onliy a few months of tinkering with my micra, and goin on campin holidays like 200 miles away my exhaust is blowing like a I WILL NOT SWEAR FILTER EVADE

so my friend had a look and he said i have a hole in one of the pipes or summat

this was umm a few days ago and its gettin worse

so how do i go about fixing it or how much will it be to get a new one?

start of by putting your lady up on ramps, then have a look to see if you can tell where the hole is. have a poke with your finger to see if parts have corroded. Then once you know which part of the exhaust has the hole in it replace it im afraid theres no 'quick and easy repair' with the exhaust, you just have to replace the corroded section.

just find the hole, or get down the scrap yard and get a replacement one

check where the pipe meets the back box i've just replaced mine cause it was rotted through

go to halfords and buy some putty exhaust repair if its a relatively small hole that should be ok for your journey and its only a few quid.

standard exhaust parts are dirt cheap as far as i remember, i had mine replaced in my early micra days for i think £40 including parts and labour!
