Maybe. I use a _much_ cheaper one from ebay.co.uk.
However there seems to be a luck factor involved, took me several tries with several different devices (from friends) to finally get something working with my 2003 Micra. And the one that worked for me did not on a friend's BMW.. And one which did not work for me, worked on a friend's VW.. So YMMV.
