Hi im jack im from south wales and ive got a 1.0L 2000 Nissan Micra Celebration (dont know what the celebration is whether is facelift(i think it is) Its my first little baby.
I thought id make this blog as im now starting to modify the car and want to record my progress and show you my little baby.
I bought the car in early march 2014, 13600 miles, no tax and no mot for £200.I late found a rusted through bonnet, blown outer cv joints, rusted rear sills, knackered lower arm, seized front pads and rear drums and no service history. £100 pounds later and cv joints, lower arm, rear shoes cylinders and springs and a full service later and shes road worthy.
may 6th- not fully taxed mot'ed and insured.
First mod- Adding an extra 25BHP
spraying the rocker cover
even got the girl friend involved
I later found that my dip light lense had broken and had to be rapaired whilst appart i thought id clean everything... and i then rubbed the chrom off some of the lense so i sprayed them black and looks quite nice and subtle.
Second mod:Steering wheel- I first wrapped my steering wheel with this but later changed it(as follows)
Third mod: painting- i painted the center console surround and speedo cowling
now i changed the steering wheel
noughts and crosses anyone?
Third mod:speakers- i fitted a sub in the boot with the tyre upside down
and 12" subs under the seats
Fourth Mod:wrapping the wing- The wing was rusted through and i had to fill the wing and repair it as i didnt need to pay for filler and only paid £2 for 2tins of laquer
my next missions are to:
.Wrap the dash blue alecantra style
.spray the bonnet and door as there was dammage and rust
.tint windows
.corsa b coilovers
.185/45/15" steel wheels with nangknag ns-2 tyres that were free except the tyres
.thacho and shift light
.decat and new backbox
