so i started to tidy up the under side today as it was looking a little bad

dont look a lot here but this is just from one wheel arch and theres more up there

needs a second coat and a little more doing up inside the arch

for that extra power needed i painted the rear drum still got the other side to do still

Most of that was road dust and crap only a little bit was metal

Yeb lol also found out that the small pipe has a kink in it on the rubber bit is that normal to be there as I do have presure in the tank when undoing the fuel cap

so tryed to change the track rod ends today and endded up cutting them off and there still stuck in there grrr come tomorrow they getting hanned out

I also changed over the brakes and trackrod ends forgot to take a pic of the finished brakes tho whoops car drives and stops like a dream tho

So I went to jack him up today and the sill failed on me time to order new metal and get it repaired frist of many to come I'm sure

Its rotten right up to near the drivers door the whole sills needs doing really :'( and I know there's more rust starting on the car

so in the last week iv lowered him by 35mm and removed the wing and got a few little things planed coming up if all gos ahead

i found out my alternor was dead and needed replacing so £45 later i have a recon one from a breakers yard and got new belts and replaced my worn out ones

and i started on the paint work restore side

got a plan for it and wanna see how well it works before i say anything

Quick update iv painted the rear bumper not quite done yet but close and the wing is on it way to being done as well

It's probably just condensed water.
Do you drive a lot in the city or shorter trips? If so, try and take your car for a long run, and let it get proper warmed through.
That should get rid of the water. Probably no big deal.

the problem is the cars been sat for 4 mouths and only satrted ever copple of days so its built up over a while

Well then it's quite obvious what to do. Just go for a couple of long runs, and the water will be gone again. No worries.

been busy the last few days at work so not had much micra time but i have got this done

just need to wire the radio controls now and remove the old stalk from the side atm and yes that is my mirror on the dash got something planed there

Just a quick update on what's going on ATM not done much on Eddie been working loads or helping friends fit stuff to there cars what I have done tho is nearly sorted the wing and bumper out iv got an alarm to fit soon added new foot well lighting so it now uses bulbs insed of LEDs and iv just been sorting any little bits out ATM also have my theory booked for the 16th so fingers crossed I pass and then I can book my practical test

When you added the Front Foglights, did you also have to add the wiring, or was it already there ?
I've been trying to locate the 2 connectors that connect the lights to the wiring loom, as they are missing from my car ?

The drivers side is there but you need the stock cable or make your own to make both work

eddie only came with the drivers side plug lucky the lights i brouht came with the stocck loom to make the both work
