That bootlid belongs to me. And yes some one will be stupid enough to buy it. I've sold one before for 80. The reason I put it up for that is because people offer silly money. So when they do i may accept

That's fair enough if you can get a lot of money for it. I'll just stick to the scrapyards where they are £15. :) GLWS
 
Some one that needs it on that colour would rather pay that then get a black one for £20 and then spray it. If I was to put it up for sale on here it would be less then half the price

This guy is McCheung. Now I've never met the guy but he had Kristian build his car! Looks like either a)Kristian did a mess of a job (as always) and blew his turbo engine up so he's breaking or b) he's got a rusty shell and is breaking it. Ill go for option a!

Anyhow I love the kit and everything about the looks. Just shame it's to do with Kristian!

Brake fluid will be fulk of water, brake pistons might have seized, watrr pump might be damaged... leaving a car sitting for long periods of time isn't ideal, I'd go through it with a fine toothcomb

fair point but not all bad as my dads friend bought a mk1 escort that hadn't been ran for 20 years, al little bit of wiring splash of petrol and fired straight up

Ummm yes,...yes I do :p...
...but...it's gold...and has a slight crack in the centre (it's still solid ;)) and...I kinda wanna see if I can make the crack vanish, before I figure out what I'm actually gonna do with it :D

...as I mentioned before there is an Si about to be broken...it may now be in the yard proper? at Harris' (in nutbourne...I made you a map and everything :p)
...in that gorgeous green...with a wrap around on it...ans Si clocks...plus a parcel shalf with speakers...and possibly sexy alloys...can't be sure though ^_^

to take it off you'll need to saw away the gluey foam stuff (is much like numberplate tape) from the edges and along the top...my dad and I found this alot easier with a bicycle brake cable, we found it on the floor at the scrap yard...luckily 15 feet from the "Vibe" I got the spoiler from. dental floss was rubish no matter how many strands we used at once <_<
What I never knew was....not only are there two bolts at the top, which are awkward enough to get out to say the least.
there is a locating clip on either side, about half way down the wrap around bit...we cut through one...undid the bolts and managed to pull the other one out..the mountings were pretty wrecked after that...but not a scratch on the spoiler...wish I'd known about the clips before attempting to remove it :rolleyes:

average miles (82,000) generally good condition...check if the timing belt has been changed (should have been changed by 2010/72,000 miles ;)
