They are ridiculously cheap, well the cams are. I just payed 1500 (937 pound, im in australia) for the cams that went in my FJ20.

Might have to start spending money on my daily... it will be cheaper

I will get a 1,75mm metal head gasket for 200€ (custom made, they can make them with the tickness you want). Will post some pics on my blog as soon as i get it.

Thing what worries me are the removal of cams and timing chain, that does have to come off right?

I've never ventured INSIDE an engine apart from a moped many many years ago

yes mate, cams off then lift the head from the chains, a nissan tech would probably do it in 2 or 3 hrs, and a 1st timer 8 ish hrs :grinning:

irst head off took me 2 days, but i have since had it off 6 times in a weekend... about an hour.

It was hand made, they didnt have a mould to make them (like for Citroens and Lancias :doh, but it looks very nice. Will give feedback as soon as i have it fitted. :grinning:

Oh, and you need to put some Hylomar Blue silicone sealant, it doesnt dry:
