Nothing wrong with learning to weld mate its not structural so the perfect piece to practice on
Looks like you need to get your torch a bit closer
If you can get someone to just teach you for half hour or help set the welder right you can learn from thereThanks for the advice. Just need to keep practicing now ..

How did you fill in the trim holes? Just filler them and spray over or? And where did you get the little rubber to cover up the window wiper hole?

Was go'n to do the welding this weekend, but when i went to get the steel they didn't have a piece small enough for me to fit in to my car..
So that will just have to wait till next weekend now..View attachment 21011
