k11 lost keys

i recently misplaced my keys whilst at work, does any1 know if the red light on the dash is just ornamental or an actualy immobiliser?:k12red: its an M reg k11 tropic

its an immobilizer, your car most probably has nats.

you can get a cream for that, just make sure you check your hair and dont let you kids go near it....... or is that something else??


its a fuel pump imobiliser.... you cannot get arround it without replacing the whole ecu....... (without the keys of course)

ahhh... thats a bit poo.. can they be ordered from a nissan dealership?

you'll need new ignition barrell and door locks.

Unless you change for a non-nats ecu, you'll still need new barrell and door locks too. and changing to a non-nats ecu will mean modifying your ecu wiring loom

just so you know i had a new key cut using the ignition barrel... thanks for every1 who chipped in with advice, goes to show that forums are the way forward
