k11 auto doesnt change up in gear

bought micra k11,iv put it in to drive and car screams when driving like it never changes out of first gear,top speed 10 -15 mph,someone said an electrical fault and not gear box,any ideas anyone?

it won't change out of gear, it is a constant velocity drive, same system you would find on a moped,

its a micra what do you expect lol

meh sounds like the powder clutch is going or the belt is slipping

those would result in a loss of drive tho, the OP description sounds like its stuck in low ratio/1st gear to me
it needs the diagnostic test really (solarice posted up the process a while back)
