k11 anoying prob help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys

Got an annoying problem with my car . Basically it seemed to only have trouble starting in the cold them all summer it would be ok . But due to the snow/cold weather we've had its now having trouble starting then cutting out 5 mins later Car will kangaroo like you cant control it then make a clicking noise and cut out . Some times the dash lights flicker on and off when it does this . Also some times the car will get slower and slower then cut out ,you can restart it straight away (as you panic with the lorry behind you trying to crush you ) and the engine check light will flash on and off fer a while then go out . Ive done the resoldering of the throttle body/cleaned changed the fuses.After doing this car doesnt cut out so much but juddering/ kangarooing still there. Could it be the idle control valve dirty or knacked?

Sorry bout the long story but any help would be greatly recieved. Also like to say great forum and im glad ive found ive found others who think the k11's a great little car!

If you have the pre-facelift (R reg or older), check the fuel pump fuse and holder in front of the battery.
The fusebox is very prone to damp. On ours, the legs had corroded away from the fuse body and it still worked sometimes.

Also check the battery terminals are tight on the battery.

The car is a P reg 96? I'll have a look at the fuse you mentioned, Cars been faultless for last nearly 7 years was a shock when it started playing up
