hi

Does anyone know what the k10,s inlet vaccum pressure is approximately in PSI or In Hg?

cheers

depends on load, mine on tickover is about 20in hg (i think maybe mm will have to double check) standing still at 3000rpm still around 20** hg, 3000rpm on the flat maintaining say 60mph in 5th about 10** hg, up hill at 3000rpm in 5th foot flat to the floor about 1 or 2**hg, down hill in 3rd ar 40mph no throttle on about 25-29**hg.

so it totally depends on what conditions, as ed says.

hope this helps and hasnt confused you.

no, im just thinking of putting a vaccum gauge in if you get me?

just wondering if it would work or the needle would not even move

my vaccum gauge has a scale of 0 to 27 in hg and it never hits 0 or goes over 27, but mine is a specific car gauge, look on ebay there are loads, i wouldnt buy an industrial type one.

got a pic of mine here, note it is in inches of mercury

also note that the car was on tickover on the pic, the only time it ever goes higher than that is when your coasting down a hill in gear but with no throttle on.

ok cheers, so does the vaccum go up or down if you rev it from idle?

i have had a look on ebay and there were several with different numbers of inches or mercury, (some went up to about 45 - 50) so i will look again

oh and is the dial on the left a speedo?

cheers
