Hi everyone, I am new member to this forum site. I just want to make my first blog cos it will be fun for me and everyone. I am deaf student so my english grammar is aint that good enough so i will try my best :)

I bought this micra in feb 2012. It was 69215 miles and got it for £500.
It was good condition but some are not good (see below)
(brake pipes are very rusty, corrosion to sills, floors, chassis rails and exhaust in poor condition)

I drove this micra for 2 months later so it was ok. After 2 months, my bonnet just came up then smashed onto my windscreen. Auto Glass came to my place and changed new windscreen. My bonnet was damaged so my uncle bought second hand bonnet so he changed it for me.

my wiper blades are not good so i went to euro car parts to get new aeroblade wipers

i went to heathrow airport to get my aunty. after we left, we went to m25 so i hear something noise so one of my wheels was flat tyre! i forget to bring my jack kit. i pulled up to next exit so i stay in safe place. this warehouse was next to me so i asked one of workers who got fork lift. he came and lifted my car up. it was so amazing for me so i can't believe it tho. my car was done so i dropped her in north london then went back to my home. it was so long journey.

things that i done to my micra so far.......

- serviced this car twice time.
- added blue ice 100w headlight bulbs
- new tyres
- bought so many air freshers (magic tree)
- new brake pads
- replaced new right cv joint kit
- bought many car accessories such as shampoo, wax, cloths and so many stuff
- replaced new windscreen
- replaced second hand bonnet (sprayed black on it)
- wheels caps (sprayed black on it but took it out for a while)
- new aeroblade wipers
- took all exhaust's shields out

Bad points that i have so far

- dents and scratches are everywhere
- corrosion are everywhere in underneath :(
- left wing is slight damaged (my friend who crashed onto the wall)
- front bumper is complete damaged (my friend who crashed onto the wall)
- cv joint spilts
- driver side's foot carpet ruined
- driver seat is very uncomfortable atm
- some curbs on these wheels
- old braking system (its okay atm)
- old exhaust system (need to change in soon)

right now, my mot is coming in next month so i need to fix these problems asap. i will progress my micra slowly until end of this month.

these lists that i need to get done
- new full exhaust system
- new braking system SOON
- remove and repair these rusts SOON
- complete front panel with lower cross member
- repair these dents and scratches SOON
- clean engine bay
- repair front bumper

planning to modify
- clear crystal headlights FAIL
- led rear lights or twin reverse march rear lights FAIL
- nismo or different gear stick FAIL
- jdm tow bar at the back FAIL
- super s spoiler ( might get this boot from martinb)
- new steel wheels FAIL
 
Little update........
- cross member replaced
- bumper repaired
- replaced new water coolant
- 'car plan tetroseal underbody sealant' i sprayed all over on rusts

things that i want to get done before mot due
- new exhaust system (middle pipe and rear back)
- new lamdba sensor plug SOON
- need replace new left cv joint kit
- new braking system SOON
- R and L handbrake cables SOON
- clean engine bay
- need replace new gear oil and might change oil again.
- replace heater card

last week, i went to my friend's work place. we was mucking about so my friends sat at the back. my micra was pretend to be lower at the back i wish lol

i see from previous pics you had bad boy bonnet :),,,,and auntys slipper seems half way ready to clap you in the head with,she dont look pleased :)
 
BIG UPDATE:

finally, my car mot passed in last friday. Phew everything is ok now. no stress or worries for me :)


- replaced new exhaust system (middle pipe and rear back).
- my catalytic converter is very good condition for this car age.
- replaced new left cv joint kit
- cleaned engine bay before. for now, its so dirty now. local mechanic took front left mud splash and cross member mud splash then threw them in the bin. was not happy with this stupid mechanic (need to get these mud splash asap before bad winter weather coming).
- replaced another good secondhand gearbox from 'MICRAMAN' (I THO THIS BUSINESS WAS GOOD....) first time was FAULTY gearbox so went back for the second time to get another gearbox. he was apologized. (still i am so stupid cos i didn't ask for warranty for first time visit.) GUYS WHEN YOU GOING TO BUY ANY SECONDHAND PARTS THEN MAKE SURE THAT YOU GET WARRANTY!
- changed new tyre on front left side. (need to get new wheels and winter tyres soon)

bought white march boot lid from martinb. what a legend guy :) (i miss his mircas so much). i haven't fit this boot lid yet.
bought super s dial from william_sr
bought old fashion winter kit from local auto shop

need to find out that i want to make my micra to be faster than 998cc NOT INTERESTED :rolleyes:
 
one of my headlight plug was burnt so i replaced another secondhand headlight plug. it was good and simple job :)

I am going to stop doing with my micra for now cos my gran who passed away last week :( i just want to have more time to have a rest and get a better feeling soon. TO BE CONTINUED..............
 
Big Update! :cool:

Feeling much better now so there are lot of things to do on my car :) My job is off for one month now (until 5th march cos my owner is on her holiday for one month) so i know its going to be hard time for me :( I got to wait until i get my job back :)

things that i done to my micra so far.......
- installed philips xtreme vision headlight bulbs ( its so heavy quality looking :cool: ) will upload pics soon
- done full service on throttle body
- installed ceramic headlight plugs
- idle adjustment
- timing adjustment
- clutch cable adjustment
- stripped all rear interiors out but i put it back for a while :rolleyes:
- repaired one of puncture tyre
- sprayed wd40 on belts so it will be ok for a while
- removed sr green dial so i put standard dial for a while



my car is getting better now so need to change new belts, water pump, front pipe and maybe new manifold gasket.

More plans will come later on so i can't tell. plans will be uploading pictures nowadays :D

btw i am going back to my study now :eek: so my project will be very slow progress :(

smooth plans mate, shame londons such a dead weight otherwise you'd have team work going on your sides if their were any members near you.

since martinb their is no one near you to help. too many zombieziez nowa days dead up :)

Yea thanks. I got martinb who is close to me so I don't know about other members. They might be away or busy something.
