Is there a thread on a DIY full car respray?

Have you any kind of spraying experience? If not, it's better not to try on a whole car as first attempt.

here in 2021 I've stripped all the panels off and had it sprayed by a m8s compressor (it didn't go well)

So, it seems you've already repainted totally your car; I've seen the pictures but i didn't read the whole topic: have you used only spray cans?
What is your wish for a new repainting?

yup grey primer & laquer spray cans from halford and base coat from local motorfactor shop.
the arch lips are starting to rust again 2yrs later so gotta either respray or replace it soon.

If rust strikes back, a respray won't save the arch lips. The problems are on metal sheets.
Any updated picture? Just to evaluate the bubbles.
