Induction kit?

Hey chaps, fairly new to this site and have recently decided to go ahead modding my 1.3 super s. I am starting with an induction kit but was wondering if anyone could recommend a specific best for sound and performence.. I hear in some cases induction kits can reduce power due to hot air intake however it all depends on which filter and were you possition the induction kit.

Any help would be much appriciated and any additional tips for starting mods would be appriciated.

This is wht I did.

you could try this

(ask them how much excluding the elbow bend and vacuum hose) they reduced the price of mine when I asked them for it.

This was the finished result.

Its wort noting it did sound amazing! but I did a comprision when I was at santa pod, Between this and the almera airbox + K&N + cold air feed. I noticed my times were much better with the almera airbox, hitting 16.6 When I refitted the induction .kit my times increased to over 17.

I would recommend getting a modified manifold of 'frank' on here. You should see some gains.

or u can use the N15 air box with a filter of your choice... and make a cold air feed

plenty of people do it on here and seems to be alright... no raw from it though

Or buy a GA16 airbox, remove the resonator. And put in an uprated panel filter.

there is if you dont attach the cold air feed pipe! :wasntme: It was actually louder with the almera airbox than it was with the induction kit.

Much appriciated will thanks for the info.. i think i'll go this way about it. Is there any sound from the induction kit? not that its prior because i am more for performence.. besides the exhaust system will do that job fine.

However much prefare the price and look off the kit you have installed.. Only thing was the bottom 2 ebay links were broken.. is there any update on these items? or could i buy the full kit somehow?

I beleive thats for the cold air intake running to the lower front of the car.

When you take the original airbox of ther are two breather tubes, I just pushed those two tubes into that reb breather pipe. It was just for looks
