Increasing Air Flow on a 1.0

Hiya all.
Just installed an upgraded exhaust manifold, have 1.3 cams to install and a few other mods to do yet.
I need to increase the air flow into the engine with some type of mod.
I have seen cone type filters with ducting running to the front of the engine, Almera air boxes being added and even a trumpet thingy added to the throttle body as in the Ebbdude thread but really dont
Know which option to go for.

What are your experiences and recommendations??

Cone filters are useless, i replaced my stock airbox with one from a n15 which has cured my running problems

No different to the stock one other than being larger

I was hoping for a yes as I am having trouble tracking down an n15 airbox and need to get more air flowing

came off a evo

cost me 25 quid brand new

I can't see how it would add 8-10 hp tho as surely it would suffer from heat soak?? A cold air feed would help I suppose?

I got it of a old p10 1.6 primera and yer it just bolts on to the throttle body byt then you have to make a cold air feed for it.

So does that go on in place of the airbox or in place of the resonator tubing?

at moment i have it in place of airbox waiting on ally pipe i have orderd to move it to front of car below battery
checked it many times and it dont get hot and also acceleration seems a little more responsive since putting it on
but best thing that makes me laugh is when i put my foot down folk twist their head to see what beast of a car is coming and then they see a micra.
have parked up and folk in chavved up corsa's etc... always ask can they see what engine i have in my little micra

Just used some 3" bore air ducting pipe of ebay,think i got about a meter of it witch is enough to get to the front bumper..
