I messed up my 1 week car. Please help. K11 1.4 SRI

Hi All,

Last week I bought a 2000 K11 1.4 SRI sport version (850€) . Pictures below. 2 Days ago, I mistakenly (because I'm very stupid) put the jack lift on the wrong spot and the damage at the pictures has happened. I think I damaged the inner sill right? I only have 1 month of TÜV and I need to make Tüv to be able to drive work. Do you think its fixable even if i damaged the inner sill?

Chop and weld is the only real option

To be fair it doesn't look all that bad, I know TUV can be quite strict compared to an MOT here in the UK.

It will be easier to assess the damage once you've used a wirewheel to clear out the rust, but it doesn't look too bad - perhaps all it needs is the rust removed and some paint over the top

As long as the metal is still strong it should not fail - if you think about it, a sill with holes in from rust, is much worse than a sill that's got all it's metal but is a little bit bent

Take it back to the dealer for a full refund (850€) under EU consumer protection laws, as its structurally very rusted unfit to be on EU roads.
