how do i install an AFPR ? and how do i remove the stock pressure regulator ?

hmm yeh i did come across it, im gonna sound like an idiot now, but where is the stock FPR ? is it on the right of the rocker cover? or to the left mounted on the side?

the reg is on the end of the fuel rail, have you got the 2 bolt fitting to replace the stock reg ?

If you've bought a cheap version you won't have the correct piece that replaces the stock FPR therefor don't bother trying until you get it. Also the 2 screws use mole grips to loosen them at first

If your not sure what a fuel rail is i wouldn't recommend you try and work on fuel systems!

Agree, there is no point to changing the FPR either. Stock one is fine for almost all jobs.

didnt say i didnt know what it was, i know what it is and what it does, my family have been mechanics for years, just dont know where it is in my engine as ive never had car before..

Soon as you open the bonnet you'll see it plan as day at the end of the fuel rail.
