Story (if you can be bothered):

Well ... spent the whole morning changing two fuel filters - one on the micra and the other on an E36 BMW. The one thing I really hate are the petrol fumes which takes a day to clear from my head.

Anyway, you can imagine my frustration when I went to Supercheap yesterday to get a fuel filter for the micra only to find that the catalogue listed no part number for the micra (oil filter only).

I did a search previously on these forums but was unable to find a reference to a fuel filter part number.

Decided to take a chance and purchased a Valvoline VF6 part which was on special (under $10). This thing suits Nissans particularly 300ZX models (including turbo Z31).

The size looked about right.

Fitted it today with no probs - it's a bit larger but still squeezes within the bracket.

Upon removing the old fuel filter, found out it was a valvoline too with model number VF34.

the repco part number is RFF4 and are the exact ones for the micra. from memory they are about $15 and are the same quality as genuine nissan ones

does anyone have the measurements for the filter nozzles / fuel pipe internal diamiter please.?..
