A Alienfish360 Awesome Dawson Aug 13, 2009 #4 It won't be missing, it can be awkward to see if you don't know where it is, it will either say CG10 or CG13. If you have a 1.0 it is CG10 if it's 1.3 then it's CG13. The VIN is on an ID plate on the passenger side of the firewall in the engine bay.

Spinal May 6, 2015 #8 Bump I'm in your position, but still can't find the number. Mine's a CG10, but I can't for the life of me find the number. According to the V5, I'm looking for something 6 digits long... Between the gearbox and engine there seems to be a flat area, but no number to be seen: http://www.ndanka.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/WP_20150506_07_48_26_Pro.jpg On the other side, there's this... but it seems more like a manufacture date(year/month - can't figure out which it is due to the crud!) http://www.ndanka.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/WP_20150506_07_48_43_Pro.jpg
