Hi All, Does the ECU have to be reset when fitting a refurbished throttle body on to my 1998 K11 ? I only ask this as my local mobile machanic told me that nissan would have to fit it.

Don't think so, just leave battery terminal disconnected for a while to "reset it"

Tbh better off just soldering your old throttle body

Clean the idle control as they can stick shut,

Throttle position can act up be in the wrong position ,
Wax stat can stick open or stuck causing slightly higher idle or low
That's mostly it that cause issues

Dizzy micras a surprisingly relable with them and repairable ,
But don't need to rest or found even have the battery off
It's plug and go,
No codes or anything,
It's still a fairly basic efi system

Plug and play, I have swapped them between stages in a matter of a few minutes.
