Got my wheels back from my mates unit ,looking to make a proper start on them soon so just cleaned them up today

There not perfect but will look decent when they have had a good paint, alot of bumps and bruises on them but i have found the majority of the repair on one of the wheels

Almost looks like body filler!

tbh I'd look into a replacement wheel, anywhere cheap will likely end up distorting the wheel through improper heat management

Looks no better than soldering mate, no penetration. If it's going to be welded you want it TIG welded with a proper repair piece put in and a continuous seam weld.

Couldn't agree more Enuo, last thing you want is a wheel disintegrating doing 70 down the motorway .

Just need to try get the dam fogs out as that one silver bolt screw holding them in doesnt move for adam!
