Hello all, I have not long had my first Micra, it is a k11 1.0l and I am looking into tuning it a little. I was just wondering what pros an cons a decat would give me? And also is there any other cheap and easy mods anyone could suggest to have a look at?

Hi Liam, I ran a decat and found it was pretty pointless, with ny 421 manifold and backbox it was extremely loud. And also felt the acceleration was slower. Not sure what it would do on a standard system. Best mod I have done is open up the inlet and exhaust system, making them flow free. Almera airbox and a janspeed 421 manifold, gave me and extra 20bhp

Just Almera airbox, 4-2-1 and backbox on a cg13 I was surprised

Nissan have obviously made it that restrictive for emission purposes
