To check a 1.3 engine. If i got a copy of someones datascan reading on tick over could i use it as a rough guide to check another cars engine that im looking at. it a 97 sr

great. any one got a copy of there 1.3 on tick over so i could match it or is that the way to check it. Just it has flat tyres and is in the corner of a yard. Just want to get a rought idea that the engine is good. thats what im getting it for.
