going to be wiring up a new amp and new speakers in the boot, but still want to be able to remove the parcel shelf if needs be so i want to be able to make it quick disconnect (like how the nissan ones work male and female block connectors) but for the life of me i cant remember the proper name for the bits i need its the male plug on 1 side which will be on shelf side and female plug for car side so i can just disconnect the 2 and the shelf will come out with wires all intact etc.
so it needs to have 4 wire sockets on male side and 4 wire sockets on female side

Imo bullet connectors are a bit naff. I would go for something like junior timer connectors (but they aren't that cheap new).

or a scrapys visit with wire cutters? but the hammer is a very usefull tool
they got them hanging on the shelves at maplins i think

cool, will have a look tomorrow after my exam

this is a pic of what i am after and if i cant find one, might just adapt a pc sata lead, chop it in half so i have a male side and a female side and just connect the wires to that, should work
