Hi Guys,​

So its the end of the year for my company and i have a cheeky £670 bonus for all my hard computing work/overtime. So i have crunched a few numbers and after putting money aside for tax at the end of march, mot in july and all that crap i can finally start this blog of my stuff.​
​
So i am a huge fan of VWs and really wanted to polo to slam and get wide. but instead i bought my sister auto white 1.2 micra k10. I couldnt care about speed because its all about low and slow. so below is a check list of everything i will be getting over the next 2 months to transform Dorris into a fat lady :)​

The inspiration for this is Porks K10 and RTLkyuubi k10. Many thanks to these guys on the HOW TO posts they have and fair play on what they have done to thiers.​

1. De Bage the back DONE​
2. Sticker bomb the dash DONE​
3. Re Ferb steelies and sticker bomb the lip (soon to chnage to banded steelies with same effect)​
4. Fabricate some Coilovers to fit IN THE PROCCESS​
6. Pressed number plates.​
7. sort out the little bits of rust​
8. change the front grille logo TBC​
​
I will be posting pics up as much as possible to keep you guys up to date.​

nice mate cant wait to see another k10 being done ;) if you need a set of coilovers pm me because i still have some polo 6n ones here i got for mine that i never got round to fitting as my k10 is long gone :( so they are no use to me mate.
 
Arches are £81 with postage. in gel black i will be keeping them black though!!!

Hi Mate! sounds like a good idea! if they arnt the ones that have the separate spring on the back, how muh you looking for with postage?!?!
 
do you mean the helper springs mate? im looking for £80 not sure what postage will be will have to check. they need a c-spanner to adjust them and i haven't got one i think they are about £6-£7 something like that.

100% will take them! i mean like the rear shocks are separate from the spring like with the corsa coilovers.... if they are like that then no thank you,.

you got a pay pal account, and i can pay for them next Wednesday :)

Alrighty mate, only a photoshop ;)

im getting the coilys next week BUT my problem is theres no way i will be cutting the rear axle mount off the coilover so im just waiting on someone to get back to me on how to edit the rear axle with pictures...
 
Update! Update! Update!

So thanks to sr20bud my Coilys should be here on friday and will hopefully had them edited over the next 7 days! wont be buy my wheels untill end of march because of car tax and all that jazz. However i have a little surprise because i have to wait :p

In addition what's peoples thoughts on a checked roof, i mean i dont want to go and have a ratty car, but then im not too bothered about the bumps and scraps on the body work. Just like the idea of the roof though :)

Coilys will be here on monday :D ****ty link always take their time ;) Im also off to a scrap yard tomorrow to get some spare parts for the coilys - bushes, top mounts, will take pics of the cars for anyone near wantage who needs parts.

ive sold them to chris mate as he was desperate for a set sorry dude. if you check ebay and gumtree you get a fair few pop up. best thing to do with ebay is search under used. the ones i had were fairly heavy duty. i dont like the look of some of the new ones on there they look a bit cheap. i will keep my eyes peeled for you anyway tho mate.
 
UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE..

so the workshop has been closed due to a leak/explosion which is the bad news! :( But im still carrying on but it will take longer ALOT longer as i have no tools.

i have given her a clean, finished the dash, and the cones that sit in the top mount have been sent off to be put on a lathe.....

Also i hit the 100,000 mile mark last night! the pic is just before!

UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!

Top mounts are being done next week along with the extened and re inforced hole on the front strut and the rears will be done the same.

GOAL - getting coilies fitted by the 24th..............
 
Ordered the wrong part of the top mount! ahahahah YESS!

more delays :( so now need to find someone with a drill press as i dont want to keep my car jacked up in my neighbourhood ahaha
 
Due to Time and Money, Dorris is now up for sale!

she has 6 months tax and MOT is untill june 29th. the coilovers are half done and depending on the price offered depends on if you want the coilovers with the car NOT FITTED!

Okay. due to no replys im looking for only £250 for the car! Taxed for 6 months, MOT untill end of july!

Coilovers not included. neither is the CD player.

Coilovers will be sold for £100 who ever wants them! only had the top cones milled down!

need to get rid of the car but dont want to scrap it!
