Evening,
Ok, at work the other day, got in my car at 4 O'clock to have a cigarette, started engine, moved it forward to get the radio to work (lol), turned engine off, go back in office.
5 o' clock, get in car, will not start. Got recovered to home at 11. Mechanic / driver said I should replace spark plugs as they were carbonised, and replace rotar arm in distributor.
Well, I have done this, I have a spark, All leads were replaced correctly, There is a 1/4 tank of petrol, the engine will turn, and fire once or twice but simply will not start.
Now, my old man says I should start looking at fuel, by getting to the carb, checking if fuel is flowing through fuel pipe.
Before I start doing this, does anyone have any other suggestions.
Cheers,
Jonny
