broken speedo

hey guys. any 1 gt a clue about speedos?

drivin doin bwt 70 n the speedo jus dropped to zero n hasnt moved since, miles arnt getin clocked either.
speedo cable looks intact.

any clues?

have you tried disconecting the cable from the gearbox,spin the inner cable when ya get it out the box end and have some 1 look at ya speedo while you do this to see if it turns, sounds like its the cable to me

It sounds like the cable has snapped like andy said disconnect from gearbox end and turn or pull slightly on the inner cable to see if it comes out easy.
